Super Max!

Once there was a little dog called Max, who has the aspect of a brown hot-dog just made, with big green eyes and a crazy tail moving without rest.  He was really happy in his hometown Duados.
Duados was the town were lived the people that didn’t want to work. Was the town where the happiest man was the one who more help to the community and the one who less work to live.  The town has a beach, with white sand and light blue water.
Max was the kind of pet that any man would love to have:  playful, full of energy and the most loyal dog in the town. But he was homeless. He is homeless? Would you ask yourself… yes, he was.
Little Max has this problem that veterinary called “heroic sense of life”. Every time there was a problem in Duados, Max was the first in smell it and help the one who need aid. Actually, he was happy by helping the town but there was something missing, an owner. In the dark night of our happy city, the lovely dog dreamed and dreamed about living in a house, a regular one, the only thing he asked for, was a place where to sleep and give happiness to their owners.
One day, a family who was new in the town, adopted Max!. The new family was “The Workers”, and didn’t know the rules in Duados, so they started looking a job. They believed that the only way of buying food to the friendly dog was working for it. Max noticed this and just wanted to help them, passing the day in his little house thinking how to stop the searching. The Workers just wondered what in the world would be happen with Max. They thought that Max miss his real place where he belong, the city. So the Workers let Max just where they found them.
Max was very sad after this and started crying every night. The people of Duados listened and didn’t know what to do. Until one day, the Workers were still looking for a job, on the beach area. Suddenly a giant wave covered the family, and they could do nothing but yelling to the sky. Max, the first in hearing the shouting of the Workers, ran to the beach and full of courage jumped to the wave and bit the clothes of every one of them, to pulling to the beach side. The day was saved by Max! And the Workers understood that the Duados town wasn’t a place to work. They read the rules of the town and decided to stay in the town.
But, what happened with our little Max? Guess what! The Workers adopted Max again, but with the promise of let the gate of the hose open, so when Max smell the danger in town, could run to save the day over and over again!

2012: the end of the world?

The last year, the most famous topic was all about the end of the world. If we shut on the tv on weekends, we could watch the panelist talking about it. All this chaos is because many predictions and prophecies said that 2012 will be the end of the humanity.  For example, Nostradamus wrote a prophecy about this, but the main is Maya’s prediction. They were a great civilization because they leave us many information about sciences and astronomic. It’s unbeliever how can they predicted so many solar eclipses with a perfect precision many years ago.
The Maya’s prediction for the 2012 was the end of the world. They made a calendar who finish this December 21st. So, all the speculations and interpretations made about this topic are related with: they predicted the end.  But I’m not sure if they would say “end of the world” I prefer to think they predicted a change in the world. A change that can shake and remake our minds, and make us to realize the damage we are doing to the world.

I think this prediction in a way can be true. It can be a way to take conscious that we are not the world’s owner.  We are just for a moment here and it is important to take care about the planet and just to enjoy its advantages.

I think if the world was going to come to an end, I would like to enjoy my remaining time with my family and friends. Just to stay together, maybe we can go to a beautiful place to take calm and be relaxed. But I think we can’t live thinking about this. Many past prophecies were not true, like “The end of the world in 2000”. Just enjoy the time… because the end can be anytime.

How green am I?

I think is difficult for me to answer the question because it is a topic very important for the environment but we need to do this better.
I understand I can’t be totally green even if I try to do my best. We can´t do everything to help the planet because the live make us to get worst the environment. I said the life by the way we can’t change all our habits. We can’t to change the all the cars or all the buses for a cycle for example. In this moment of the world that is so difficult to do.  So we just can do it better.
Everyday I try to be conscious about water and electricity consumption. For example if I left a room always I turn off the lights. When I rush my teeth I don’t leave all the time water falling down.  Another thing that I do, at the university, I try to save the print paper that I don’t go to use anymore and I put it in containers for recycle.  Also, when I have batteries that are not working anymore, I put all of them on the batteries recycling box.
About transportation, I have to confess I am a little bit lazy because I don’t use to walk so much. So this is a point that I have to improve. But when distances are short, I try to walk and if it is in company of friends better!! Because is bored to walk alone. And to use a bike, I would love to use it, but I’m scared about to be crushed by a car.
I have never thought about joining an eco-organization, because I think environment is important but not so much for to be part of an organization. And I don’t have so much time for to do those things, and when I have free time I prefer to do other things that I really like to do.
I think in our society and especially in our country is missing to be more conscious about environment, about global warming and topics like those. We need to learn about this from the school years for to change the world and to change the human habits.

The sense of life...

The sense of life?
Wow I think it's hard to think about it ... is too profound!

I don’t really know what is the meaning of life, I think the age that I have is a little hard to say which is because I am just 20 years old, and I still have many things to live (I hope so). But really, at this point I think the meaning of life is what you want to do with your life. I always think I must live the way things are. See their good sides and bad sides, its positive and negative things. I’m sure always you have something to learn about it. Maybe sometimes you don’t understand why things happen, but I'm sure with time are explained. "Whenever things happen for a reason" and that something is always better for you, maybe you don’t really reach at the momento, but with the time you will understand why was it happening. I think everyone must just enjoy life, because there is only one, and it must to be profited! Carpe diem, but with careful!

French Children Don't Throw Food

There is a book called “French children don’t throw food”, that explains some interesting habits of the French children in contrast with the American ones. One of the habits is that the French children, passed the second month of life, can sleep all night trough without awaking. This is a wonderful attitude that I guess, any mother would wish. The writer of the book, Pamela Druckerman, a New Yorker journalist explains that this is caused because the tactics at the moment of hearing the cry of the baby in the middle of the night are very different. The American moms, when hears the baby cry, immediately runs to take him and make him sleep. The French moms are more analytical, she knows that the baby has two phases of dream, so, it’s natural that they wake in the middle of them. The strategy there is standing right him and let he be quiet alone… then will be fall sleep magically. Another difference between American and French moms is that the last ones, are not really interested in make social life with other moms of same age. This could be explained because they are more interested in taking care of the child instead making social life in that stage of the life. The main conclusion that Druckerman is able to say, is that the quiet you take care you child, the more obedient he will be, just ask the French moms!

If you want to read the entire article, here I write the link of the new:

How do I see my future life...

The way that I see myself in the future is obviously exactly as the way I want to be and what I want to do it in the future with my life. I think I really don’t have so many projects for me, but I’m sure that I have the same mains projects that everybody in the world must to have for themselves.
First of all I think in around 4 years I will finish my psychology career and then I will search a good job, when I said a “good job” It means I will have my own office to see my patients. It will be decorated really nice by me for to make it comfortable for my patients. At the same time, I will be still with my boyfriend, we will not be thinking about get married (there is so much time for that and It is not something important for us) but I’m sure we will be planning travels and making real all our dreams about to know different countries and enjoying the life together. After to travel and enjoy the time we will make a family. I will have two children and my parents will be very proud about me. I will be very close for them.
About my social life I will have my close friends from the university, we will meet us every single weekend to spend the time as old times and to speak about our special patients.
I see myself in 15 years as a woman very happy and proud about her life, profession and family. I will be very passionate about life and all things that I love to do.

Summer: Bikini and Sunglasses in JGM

Studying in a summer semester? Is not THAT bad actually. Of course there are some points that don’t help making it normal. But, there are traditions that will never be forgotten in order to having this “innovator” semester. For example, I will not read those texts in the middle of Christmas dinner, or making my investigation project while I’m sited watching the fireworks. Ok, it can’t be everything normal. I have thought that travelling in subway would be the worst thing to do, because the human warmth there is unbelievable. I hope this semester worth it and we get that for what we are fighting for: FREE, PUBLIC AND QUALITY EDUCATION!
My expectations for this semester are very positive. I think that would be nice this situation: 3 o clock in the afternoon, such a sun hitting us in our faces like a oven on his maximum warmth, and one friend yells: LETS GO TO VIÑA DEL MAR THIS WEEKEND! That would be a perfect idea, a quick travel to the beach just for having a great time.

I can´t die if I don´t visit Italy

There are a lots of places that I would liked to visit before I die, but Italy it’s really one of my musts places. I really wish to go someday  (I hope someday means soon lol) because I think it is a really interesting and magic country to visit. I love it's language and food. I also imagine that is a very happy country, and I would be very happy if I could eat pasta almost every day.

Another thing that I love about Italy is the architecture and history that the country has. I love the museums and churches just because their lovely structures.

If someday I have the chance to go there, I'd love to go with my boyfriend, cause he is a big fan of Italy too (and also loves lassagna).

I think I'll start saving some money so someday I'll reach my dream.

Mamma Mia!

My favourite dish is a tasty one right from Italy, and it's called "Lasagna". It's an italian recipe that is really famous all over the world because is typical to try it in every kind of restaurants. Actually i like all pasta's dishes, like "spaguetti", "ñoquis", and "lassagna", of course, I guess that pasta are my favourite family of food.
I will let you know how to prepare a perfect lassagna, the first step is to get the ingredient in the supermarket, and this are: Lasagna dough (you can buy it in any supermarket, and really sheap!), cheese, butter, tomato sauce, grinded meat, and personally i would recomend you to try white sauce and bay leaf to give it an amazing taste.. Mmmmm MAMMA MIA!
Once you have all the ingredients, you can start preparing your lassagna dish. First, you spread the butter on your ovenproof, then put a lassagna dough layer, then a grinded meat layer with the bay leaf between,to give it an italian taste, then add a white sauce layer and after a tomato sauce layer, then repeat this procedure until the ovenproof is full of this tasty ingredients. Finally, you MUST to add cheese, but a lot of cheese!! After this, put it on an oven and leave it there for fourty or fourtyfive minutes, it depends of the oven temperature. Wait while you prepare the table to eat... and JUST ENJOY!
Actually, I’ve never done this recipe by my own... but I’ve seen my mom and dad prepare it. Once mt dad prepare this dish, but he forgot to put the tomato sauce ahaha it was tasty too, but I preefer it with the sauce.
My dream is to prepare this dish to my boyfriend, because this is his favourite dish too. I wish you can try this dish, to experience the best pasta ever!

Like, but dislike!

I love this picture because it represents movement and action. To be honest, I don´t really like this animal because it scares me, every time when I go to beach I look everywhere to make sure that there aren´t any of these. Once, a jelly fish shocked me and it hurt really bad, and I started to cry in the minute that I got bitten. Anyway, I chose these picture because I loved the colors and their contrast.
When I look at this picture for a while, I can actually imagine the jellowfish moving through the water, swimming gently and calmly.
But the thing that I like the most about it is that it reminds me of Spongebob squarepants and all the adventures he had hunting jellyfishes. I can actually see in my head Spongebob dancing its jellyfish dance in his jellyfish party. I already learnt the coreography!
Maybe it sounds a bit contradictory, I like the picture because of the things that I imagine with it and the things that makes me remember, but I’m also scared of them. Well it isn´t that contradictory, in fact, the only time when I like them is when they are far far far away from me.  There is a special kind of jelly fish that is the one that scares me the most, it is a jelly fish that is red coloured, exactly the same like the one in the picture. There are some other that are see throw, so I don´t really get scared of them, but when I see the red ones, I imagine that they have eaten a lot of people so they are red because of the blood of the people that theyhave eaten.

A day to remember!

I don’t know if I have a best day of my live, but I’m sure I have days that I remember very well and maybe I’ll never forget it. For example once of them is my arriving to France. I remember this day as if it was yesterday! I arrived to Paris after 17 hours of trip with another girl. She had to go to Lyon and me, to Bordeaux, the other side of France. I didn’t know anything about french and the people in the airport didn’t know anything about spanish… So, I had to use my english, it was not good. I began to search for my gate, because Charles de Gaulle airport is so so so big! It has 4 terminals and many gates each one. Finally, I found my gate and I had to wait four hours for my next flight. While, I bought a phone card to call to Chile. The first call I do was to my mom to said her I’m fine in Paris, I remember she was very worried.  Also  a china woman said if I could close her bra LOL it was an anecdote I remember very well.
Finally I was in the flight to Bordeaux, it was fast around one hour and 30 minutes. When I was arrived in Bordeaux I was very nervous, I was thinking all the time what say, etc. But, when I met my host family it was easier than I was imagined. I could speak English with my host sister all the trip to my city. I arrived to my house, it was very nice and my room too.
It is an important day of my life, It was the beginning of an amazing year! J

My favourite piece of technology...

OK, it will sound funny, but my favourite piece of technology is my old mobile! It is very very anti-technological because It is just for calls and sms. It doesn’t have camera, internet, multimedia sms, music player, radio, etc. But I love it! Because calls and sms is all I need for talk with my family and friends in Curico, my boyfriend in Valparaiso and my new friends in Santiago.
I got it the last year when I arrived from France because my last mobile and number were over.  It was cheaper, and I got it with my boyfriend at Claro’s “Pack Unidos”. So I talk free all time with him. We can send sms free too. It is so useful for us.
I use my mobile for talk with my family too. Usually, my mother calls me all nights (but really, She uses to call all the day LOL). Periodically, my grandmother in Copiapo call me too.
Sometimes I think if I lose my mobile it can be catastrophic! No, not at all, but it would be sadly for me. Really, I need my mobile all days and all the day with me. I really need my cellphone to be connected and for watch the time everyday.

When I'm sad...

Really, I don’t use too much to be sad. It is very unusual and noticeable on me.
Well, but when I’m sad I like to listen a kind of music. Mainly, I like to listen radio, music for dance or pop music... I don’t like to listen romantic music or kind of. That is not for cheer up me.
I really like to listen Ricky Martin, Shakira and others. I think their songs are not sadIy. I think there is a song that really cheer up me is: “Pegate un poco mas” by Ricky Martin. Ok, maybe it’s crazy, funny or whatever but when I listen this song I feel like dancing and I begin to. That makes me feel good and forget all about when I was sad. Really, that makes me cheer up!!  But when I’m not sad I do it too. LOL
Another music that I like to listen is music who remembers me my time spent with my friends. Songs we listened in parties or everywhere.  Always there are these kinds of songs in your mind. Songs who you listen and come to your mind some story and stuff and makes you smile.

Brian Weiss

Born in 1944 in New York.
He is one of the most famous psychoanalist in USA. He studied at Columbia and Yale University.
He’s famous for his books about love, soul mates and reincarnation.  His research includes reincarnation, past life regression, future-life progression and survival of the human soul after death.

He begun to write about reincarnation after to practice psychiatric therapy with his patients who  relate their experiences when they were in an hypnotic state. They related stories about past lifes, soul mates, etc. At the beginning Weiss didn’t believe in reincarnation but after some therapies with a patient who confirmed  some elements about Weiss’ life who she should not have to know, He begun to believe to.

Main works are:
·         Many lives, many masters
·         Only love is real
·         Same soul, many bodies

I just read “Only love is real” many years ago. When I never thougth to study Psychology.
I really like it because I’m interesting about past lifes, regressions, soul mates and all this themes. For me this book was so interesting. I would like to read the other books but for the moment I don’t have the time for.

The fish boy.

It’s an Argentinean movie about two teenage girls who are in love. One of them works as a nanny (Ailìn) and the another one is the family’s daughter (Lala). They are planning to go to Paraguay for a better life together.
First, Lala goes to Paraguay and there, she knows the legend about “the fish boy” who is a baby died in a lake. The fish boy was Ailìn’s baby!! She was pregnant when she was 13 years old.
Lala comes back to Argentina searching Ailìn. They go to Paraguay making their dreams come true.
I didn’t like so much this movie. It was so confusing and boring!! LOL
